 | ROSANNA SEVERINO
Rosanna is a Fashion Design student, who is currently studying Fashion Textiles at the London College of Fashion. After completing her first year she has decided to move to Brighton to develop creatively and be inspired by the Brighton way of life. Rosanna’s main source of inspiration comes from her life and how she grew up as well as being inspired by music and movies. She likes to create around how she is feeling as well as what she has experienced. Rosanna’s style can be quite extravagant and theatrical and she likes to experiment with a range of materials. Shape plays a big part in her designs too as she loves to create on the mannequin. Rosanna doesn’t necessarily see herself as a ‘Fashion Designer’, but more as an artist who uses dressmaking as a means of expression. |
 | KAYLEIGH VALENTINE
Kayleigh is an up and coming fashion designer. Having just graduated in Fashion Design, she has just showcased her latest collection in Brighton Fashion Week. Kayleigh has experience in designing womenswear and menswear, for both high street and high end markets. However the Kayleigh Valentine label focuses on high end womenswear, and one off, bespoke pieces. She has an extremely vintage inspired style, which uses hints of rock ‘n' roll and 20's/30's/40's inspirational silhouettes within her designs. Her designs are delicate, elegant and full of beautiful textures. Her signature style is definitely the raw look to her textiles within her pieces, with soldered fabrics and dainty embellishment she creates truly unique fabric and clothing. |
 | MANDY YOUNG
Mandy started sewing at the age of 10, her auntie, a tailoress, taught her how to design and sew. She knew, even then, that creating something individual was going to be her passion. Mandy went on to study at art school for three years, and has since completed courses in lingerie, screen printing, airbrushing and pattern cutting. In the past Mandy has worked with a well known jewellery designer, crocheting gold and silver wire with precious stones, which were sold in Harrods. At this time I also made unique fancy dress costumes for a large hire company, and also for private buyers, plus prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses galore. In 1997 Mandy launched Unique Kids Boutique, making and selling unique, one-off pieces of children's clothing: which now has a very loyal following of customers. Along side runnjng her children's clothing company, Mandy also has a passion for vintage clothing, and has been inspired to create her 1950's twist collection. Mandy believes in complete individuality, and still gets a buzz from seeing people wearing her creations. Wherever possible all Mandy's pieces are ethically created using locally sourced materials, and handmade in Brighton. |

 | AFTON AYACHE
After finishing her Degree in Fashion Design for Womenswear at Northbrook College Sussex, Afton loves to mix contemporary fashion style but yet with a unique approach to the fashion existing.
Afton designed a young fun Final Collection, inspired by a little street of Egypt and the shapes of temples, with lots of fun geometric patterns and really bright bold prints.
Through her degree course Afton has learned the process that starts from an idea, such as trend research, drawing, design, textile, garment construction and pattern cutting. In her spare time she paints to fulfill my ambition or inspiration, and then applies it in a design, represent in a 3D form or pattern, until concluding in the final garment.
After showing her ' Young Fun Collection’ Afton is now getting some experience working with a stylist director and uses her ideas and puts them to elaborate new garments or head pieces such as turban design, shoe customizing and lots more.

 | RICARDO JOHNSON
Ricardo Johnson currently lives in Bristol studying a degree in Accounting and Finance. While Ricardo did not set out to begin a career in fashion (although his degree in accountancy has certainly come in useful!), his passion for clothes and style has led him to design and sell his own range of clothing for the modern, metrosexual male: Heart Breaker Club (http://hbcclothing.bigcartel.com/).
This stylish but wearable line is inspired by the UK club scene and Ricardo is currently in talks with some of the biggest names on the High Street to distribute the collection in the near future. Ricardo is looking forward to showcasing his new collection at BrightonLovesFashion and hopes that the people of Brighton will come and join the Heart Breaker Club.
